If you know the "Sterfleet Museum" website, you must know that the Constitution class was based upon the highly succesful Valley Forge class. The site is in my personal canon so here's an homage to a veteran and its heir :D

I would have thought that the Constitution's were more based on the Asia Class though? They look more alike, enough to the point i was able to customize a 1/2500 scale TOS enterprise into an Asia Class.
