NICE! Is there somewhere I can go to look up the capabilities of the Avante class? I'm curious.

The Avante matches that of the smaller TNG era cruisers, like the Cheyenne or New Orleans. She has six phaser arrays and four photon torpedo launchers, all weapons upgraded by the First Fleet (semi-legally). The ship has a cruising speed of Warp 8, her maximum speed is Warp 9,3 (9,45 on the Polaris with Commander Colson's extreme modifications).
