IRML here, I've just been made aware of your comments in some of your images, and after reading them I feel you've portrayed me quite unfairly, I'd like to let you know I get a lot of requests for that model and every now and then I miss one, so please don't take it personally
yours is not the only request I've failed to respond to, and you're not the only one who's reacted strongly about it either, for example: last year a friend told me that a guy called KnightRider was messaging him about me, he described it as "kind of creepy actually, funny and creepy", he told me it was "basically two long paragraphs of 'I hate IRML!!!'" which stemmed from me failing to reply to some messages he sent - as it happened I'd reached my inbox limit and his messages didn't even get through to me
that's quite an extreme example, but just like with KnightRider your comments don't do you any favours - you call me 'overproud' but we've never spoken, you try to discredit my model but you wanted it in the first place, you say you don't like me but you don't even know me - you end up making yourself look as bitter and as 'creepy' as he does
I get many requests but the truth is if I want someone to have the model I've probably already given it to them, since it was featured in the 2007 star trek calendar I've been asked to be more careful about who I give it to, so I do have very legitimate reasons for refusing, unfortunately for some people this isn't good enough
I've never asked anyone for anything, I just make models and give them to my friends, yet there's this backlash against me from people who feel like I owe them something, it's a bit disheartening actually - if I'd known the graphics community was like this I wouldn't have got involved with it in the first place
with all the views these images of yours have accumulated there could be up to 2000 people you've influenced against me, and for what? I'm sure there's plenty of people out there that I've genuinely pissed off, and they have every right to voice their displeasure in me, but you and this guy KnightRider and all those like you have nothing, you know nothing about me and I don't owe you anything, and I wish you'd stop
if you still feel you need to voice your opinion of me then please do it in a place where I can defend myself next time
I am sorry. I was pissed off by you not responding, not even a simple "no". I though it was because you, the pro thought that the underdog, me, doesn't even deserve that simple answer. If I was wrong, I ask your forgiveness.
She certainly is the most beautiful ship to have ever carried the name. I don't care what anyone says and since the original model is LW I shall most certainly use her for some pieces in the future!
