Is there any chance I could get my hands on this version of the Phase 2 Enterprise?

I'm working on my own mesh and I love to study the other versions out there (The Bailey, WC, etc...)

to think, the film wouldve been a show instead, thank god it didnt otherwise the show would only last no more than 6 episodes, i mean the first film failed, but the second film rocked!!!!!!

That's pretty baseless. They had a lot of good ideas for Phase 2 that we NEVER saw. 13 episodes were being drawn up for the series. It was within a fraction of an inch from being made.

true, I mean, have you watched the phase 2 fan series? they use scripts that were unused in the original phase 2. It's very good!

We wouldn't have had the TMP Enterprise without this Phase II design.

The Phase II Enterprise design retains the primary and secondary hulls of the original spaceframe, with the existing impulse drive assembly upgraded with larger vents. And the thin warp nacelles and their swept-back connecting pylons were added, replacing the old cylindrical warp nacelles and their straight connecting pylons. Plus the dual forward torpedo launcher assembly was added at the neck.

I have the directors cut too. I only liked the first half of the movie but then it just went all down hill and started to get boring.

I see you are familiar with the history, especial the Phase II part.

I like TMP, especially because of those beautiful wide-target shots they used and making the Enterprise look so tiny compared to V'Ger. The story is a bit boring, yeah, but the sight is breathtaking :D
