Star Trek XI theories Hi folks!I came up with two theories regarding the new movie. One deals with the oversized hangar and engineering bays, the other with general aspects on time travel.First of all: the hangar bay. As I was studying the basic shapes and dimensions of the ship (thanks to the wonderful 3D model of Madman1701A I was granted to convert to 3DS Max format), I got this strange idea that the hangar bay stretches through the whole length of the engineering hull. That is, it stretches from the hangar doors (obviously) to the main deflector assembly. Some parts of it, especially the front end, is interrelated to the engineering units, connected to it
Star Trek movie review Star Trek movie reviewWARNING, CONTAINS SPOILERSOkay, folks, I watched the movie. I'd like to thank the guys who made the cam version so I could get to get the general picture of the movie before watching it in the cinema.First of all, this is not a complete, full-blown review. I must watch the movie a few times to understand all the little bits and pieces. This writing is about the general picture of the movie.Allright then, let's get down to business. It is a fast-paced movie, something that it's not what I expected from a Star Trek movie. I heard that many scenes from cut from the pre-release version, a full edition would probably
Why I came to hate Star Trek Why I came to hate Star TrekNo, this is not about the new movie. When I am writing this, I haven't seen it. This is about You, all you people. You must bloody well know who I am referring to.When I started to watch Star Trek, all it meant was that the Voyager was on her way home. There was no fucking Enterprise, Federation and all the shit. It was just a cool spaceship with a cool crew. Then I met the other series and I became a Star Trek fan. No, not a Trekkie. Just a guy who enjoys watching Star Trek. Because I DO have a life. I don't like when people call me a Trekkie, the same way I don't like whrn they call me an intellectual. No, I'
Heroes of the Pole Star Major Timothy Torrance looked at the young Lieutenant at the intelligence station. He didn't remember the name of the young man, he was the newcomer in his crew. Aboard the USNASF spaceship Edison, the crew was not simply a crew but a family. The young Lieutenant was not a member of the family, anything but. He had to earn the right to become one of them, a veteran spaceship crew of the United States of North American Air and Space Force. As things were, maybe he'll earn it with his baptism by fire.- It's a Soviet ship, Sir. the Lieutenant said. His name was Michaelson, Torrance quickly checked the nameplate on his spacesuit O
History of the Tzenkethi War The history of the Tzenkethi WarSome historians consider the Tzenkethi War the Federation's military showoff for the emerging superpower of the Cardassian Union. Others say this small war which ended with a total Federation victory and the humiliation of the proud Tzenkethi race that knew no defeat for uncounted centuries was the continuation of an ages-old conflict within the Federation itself. Thus, it was a proxy war, fought between those who stood for the ideas of the Federation's regime and those who opposed it.The conflict, they say, began in 2273 AD, when the third starship to bear the name "USS Polaris" (NCC-2782) was dispatched t
